Radial Acoustic Shockwave is an advanced new therapy that is extremely effective at treating a variety of conditions. The shockwave is created by a small projectile that is fired by compressed air against a metal drum. The impact sends a shockwave that penetrates up to 4 inches deep into the soft tissues.
The effects of shockwave affect the body by greatly increasing blood flow by stimulating vasodilation. The energy produced by the shockwave also helps to stimulate healing pathways that get “turned off” in chronic pain conditions. By re-activating the healing process cells begin to regenerate again.
